I agree, tough border control is a necessity in the post 9/11 era. Terrorists could easily slip in through either Mexico or Canada, I remember the last time I went to Canada (Post 9/11), the US side didnt even check the trunk upon return, a man or terrorist could have easily fit inside. I think we need suffocatingly (Yes my new word) tight restrictions placed on our borders.

Isn't it amazing. Bush and company claim we are involved in a war against terrorism but they leave our borders wide opened. One would think that in a time of war close the border would be one of the first things you would do. I see you mentioned the Minute Man Project, have you visited their site? It can be found at, www.minutemanproject.com . You might want to visit www.americanpatrol.com too, that is a very interesting site if you are concerned about the illegal alien problem.

I think you have absolutley no idea what you are talking about.

First off, if you didn't have your hands in everyone else's pie, you wouldn't have people flying planes into your buildings.

Secondly, closing the borders is a fantastic idea, if you want to stop trade. But last time I checked your economy wasn't doing so hot and needs all the help it can get. Although, the fact that something was a bad idea never seem to stop you before.

The problem with conservatives, and it's just the nature of being conservative, you have absolutley no ability to look ahead and determine the consequenses of your actions. Way to go!!

1. Our economy is doing OK, and our trade deficit is with China and the East, not Mexico.
2. One problem is that the illegals funnel thier money out of the country into Mexico, and out of the US economy.
3. Closing the borders to illegal immigrants, not trade. Read next time.
