No, I've adopted DE. I found some pork in my own district too.

Well, perhaps you'd realize that renovating the I-95 overpass at SR-1 is indeed NOT pork. And, for $4 million, I'd say it's quite a bargain. The bridge to nowhere in Alaska IS pork. However, this highway appropriation is much-needed.

I called it pork becuase it is federal funding for State Route 1, which should be paid for by Minner and her cronies.

Yes, of course, it's a needed appropriation because it's in YOUR state/district. Granted, I've been to DE only once, but it's just my observation that people (with the exception of Ryan here) only want things that aren't theirs to be cut. I guarantee that Alaskans feel their bridge is as necessary as your renovated overpass. That's not to say either are. It's just to say maybe the overpass could be renovated at some other time or perhaps federal money shouldn't be used for state projects.
Possibly the dumbest use of money is to cover the butt of a statue in Birmingham. There is a statue of some Greek god on a mountain, and the view from many upscale homes is his butt. Federal money is going to a project to make a loin cloth to cover it up. It should be state or local money, if any.
I'm going to look and see what my home district (TN 1) is wasting, and I guarantee my adopted home of DC is blowing cash like nobody's business.

Oh, and I'm interning in Tom Feeney's (R, FL-24) office for the next three months. I'll get back if I hear any mumblings about what he'd like to cut.
