The Washington Post was running an piece this morning that said evidence existed that she had contributed to the Democratic party back in the late 80's - it has since dissapeared, so I don't know if they found it not to be true, or if they hope to run with it as a headline tomorrow or something.
Either way, I think the theory you just posted is the worst fear of many liberal activists, and its exactly why I think even more Democrats will push hard this time around to at least get some clue on where she stands judicially. I think this piece is correct in that Bush probably knows her views better than anyone, so he certainly knows what he just did. The question now becomes, was all his campaign rhetoric actually just to appease his base and win votes, or was it representative of his true beliefs? I guess only time will tell.
Hiiiyahh (thats ninja noises). I sure hope so Ryan. I was hoping for a battle royal to raise the level of debate in this country.
