I think that the Dems have a good candidate in John Edwards. He had prior national exposure in the last election and he has a personal life that will relate to the average American. He has young children and his wife's battle with cancer could be appealing as a connection to the majority of voters.
The GOP's have got to find someone who is young, strong and personable very soon. I think that Jeb Bush would be a good candidate but I don't think he will run. Rudy Guiliani has announced this week that he is ready to re-enter politics and the could be a big plus for the GOP....it is still too early to tell but anybody but Hilary would be fine by me....

Well because removing Saddam from power allowed the Iraqis to take the steps to becoming a free people.
People who are not oppressed are more likely to chose moderate society then those under the oppression of tyrants.
