He got this part right:
...what they say about absolute power is coming to reality in the 2005 GOP Washington.
My question is, what are the non-corrupt GOOPERS (if any exists) going to do about their corrupt brothers?

There is not much they can do, like throwing them out of office outright. And just like the Dems, the noncorrupt GOP members outnumber the corrupt by far.
They non-corrupt should ensure that the law is carried out. Sorry to disappoint you, but the GOP is not a den of theives.

Because the Democrats are so much more pious? Ask Ted Kennedy, Chuck Hagel, or Nancy Pelosi about corruption.

Okay.
Hey Ted, Chuck, and Nancy, how many corrupt Republican leaders are being investigated or are under indictment right now?
Yo0u know, you are right. That helps clear up what JC meant when he said,
"...what they say about absolute power is coming to reality in the 2005 GOP Washington."

Jason-
Talk to Chuck "ethics" Schumer, under whose DSCC leadership, Michael Steele's social security number was abused. If he claims he hand nothing to do with it, ask why the DSCC is paying for attorneys to cover it up. As a Democrat- and I assume a non-corrupt one- why are you not saying anything about that? Or about other racism aimed at Mr. Steele? Ah, yes, because Steele is a Republican, and Democrat corruption is always better than Republican corruption. Only an idiot wouldn't know that!
I think Ryan's point was that those individuals are examples of corruption in the Democratic party, meaning you should ask them about corruption because they are expert witnesses. They no more investigate and hold their own accountable than anyone else. That doesn't make corruption right, but it does make your assumption that Democrats are somehow by nature better at holding one another accountable very wrong.

I am actually quite suprised with your sticking with the GOP Ryan. It has failed you on Immigration, Social Security reform, rediculous pork spending (not to mention the other fiscal atrocities), and is mirred in scandal left and right.

As though the DNC has a reliable record on any issue besides abortion as well...
And don't forget, the system has set it up such that we can't really build a new table anyway.

Well boys, as if we needed any more proof that you are tools of a corrupt GOP, we have this from
(indicted) DeLay aide Mike Scanlon:
"The wackos get their information through the Christian right, Christian radio, mail, the internet and telephone trees," Scanlon wrote in the memo, which was read into the public record at a hearing of the Senate Indian Affairs Committee. Simply put, we want to bring out the wackos to vote against something and make sure the rest of the public lets the whole thing slip past them."
Scanlon confessed the source code of recent Republican electoral victories: target religious conservatives, distract everyone else, and then railroad through complex initiatives.
Raise your cloven hoof if you think this the path to good government.

How is Chuck Hagel corrupt? He's my favorite Repub and I have so few. I have this fantasy that he wil get the nomination in 2008 and run against Biden (who also gets the nomination). I then imagine pushing the button to vote for Hagel in DE.
But Hagel is bad? I hope not. Is he?
