FREEEDOM!
71% William Wallace - somewhat ironic, since I'm actually decended from Robert the Bruce through James IV of Scotland and one of his mistresses. Your random fact for the day. Horray for procrastination.

I'd post a quiz too - if my party just got its rear end handed to it. It must be a tough time to be a Bush lover.

Why to you continue to call me a Bush-lover? Unlike you, I have a mind and think for myself. I posted election commentary earlier yesterday evening.

Because he is like the straw man - he doesn't have a brain. SO the GOP lost 2 elections to the incumbent party - wow - now there is real news. And don't look too deeply into the CA thing. Too many oddballs in that state to mean anything.

First off, this discussion should be on the thread actually about the election (Jason). That said, I will only add that although I'm a Dem., I don't really see this as all that huge. I'm glad we kept the seats and I hope Corzine chooses his replacement wisely, but I have my doubts about the larger implications of this election. Virginia is big, if only because it is a testament to Warner's popularity as his considers in '08 run. I think Bush's unpopularity may have hurt the Republican there to a degree, but many people vote differently for state officials than national officials.

Rhodey had had enough of Jason's inanities and banned him from Colossus (even though I told him his silly comments didn't really matter to me). It'll probably just be temporary at any rate.
But, alas, just consider this [yet again] asinine statement: if my party just got its rear end handed to it.
Yes, New Jersey and Virginia elected Democrat governors. The replaced ... Democrats with two more ... Democrats!
As for Ahnuld in CA, well, yes -- he lost his ballot initiatives. But the liberal ballot initiatives lost in Ohio.
Must be those "hacked" electronic voting machines ...!!
