I got this book for Chirstmas last year and sat down and read it in a day, which I don't usually do. Couldn't agree more - its really a great read.

If you find the notion of American fascism interesting I'd suggest the book: (War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America's Campaign to Create a Master Race
By Edwin Black)

I have it. Although I haven't read it yet. I've come across some of the historical links before, of which it seems to be a compendium.

to be fair to Lindbergh.
When war was declared he voluntered for military service but was turned down because of his prewar activism.
He took a job as a test pilot for one of the aircraft manufactures where he helped improve our fighters and bombers. He also went overseas as a factory rep and flew several combat missions.
