Good for him - you might disagree with Murtha (even I do), but for Bush and co. to attack his patriotism is sickening, esp. given Murtha's previous service to our country.
If only Kerry had stood up for himself in the same way...
Where specifically was the attack on Murtha's patriotism? That woman rep. merely read from a constituent's letter (which was a stupid thing to do, IMO) but where did "Bush and co."?
And does military service mean one cannot be criticized? Didn't we supposedly learn this from the Clinton years -- most especially from John Kerry himself?
