All Paul Martin needs to do to win is make sure every Canadian sees the picture you put at the top of this post.
Would you trust a man who shows such bad judgment when picking friends?
Paul Martin is over, period, no matter what picture he shows. It's amazing to see liberals stick up for corruption when ideology gets in the way.
Additionally, Harper and Bush aren't friends. That picture was taken when Bush granted him a meeting during his visit there.
And truthfully, our nations have traditionally had better relations with a Republican in the White ouse and a Conservative in the Prime Minister's Office. There was no great alliance between Clinton and Chretien, and before that Trudeau and Carter.
And you trust Paul Martin's judgment in picking friends? Look at his party and the corruption he claims not to have known about before you make such spurious claims. You clearly have done no reading before making these assessments. You just know you like liberals, no matter how bad they've been for their country. You prefer ideology to people, that is very clear.
Additionally, Harper is actually bothering to campaign with ideas, where is Martin is using "negative" campaigning. I thought you liberals were against that.
Guess not.
Oh, and just a bit of history for you, Jason, since you can't bother to learn on your own.
When Martin ran his campaign 17 months ago on "Harper is too pro-American" and "Harper is scary," he took a solid majority government and turned it into a minority government. He lost a lot of seats using this strategy, so explain to me how doing so again would help him because logic seems to indicate it would not.
From what I understand, only Atlantic Canada hates us.
No, I think mainly Quebec, and maybe parts of Ontario. Not sure about Atlantic Canada.
