Hmm, I'd have to question your poll and the trend you claim to spot. NBC/WSJ still has him at 39% Approve 54% disapprove...Time at 41-55, ABC/WP 42-56, Fox 41-51...the NBC/WSJ is the most recent, having been taken from 1/26-1/29. I find it very odd that the numbers for Rasmussen have climbed so quickly without any significant developments. Even in that poll, a week ago Bush was at 44-55. If anything, the poll might reflect a hope for a 2006 that is a whole lot better than 2005. With recent developments (admittedly beyond Bush's control, for the most part), I just hope its not worse.

Rassmussen is pretty reliable...I'm sure you would have questioned a FoxNews poll more.

I don't mean to be harsh or anything, but I am baffled by the relevancy of this? When was this new? Bush won the election with basically a 49-51 percentage.
As for the fundraising, when has the DNC ever eclipsed the RNC in recent memory?
"Who is wasting who's time?"
I don't really get that either. Who is wasting time?

The DNC, the far left (same thing). They attack and attack, and get nowhere. So far out of mainstream it causes them to become irrelevant.

I would agree that Bush's numbers are not the result of Democratic attacks, which I see as a waste of time. Instead, they have resulted from his own 2005 problems.
I'm just wondering if this poll was a blip in the radar, or if we'll see a similar trend in other polls.
Ryan Mc. makes a good point though - his approval rating could be 10% or 100% - either way, we're still stuck with him until 2008.

Hey don't be upset! Things are going great, we have Sam Alito ( a fair and open-minded jurist) on the bench, we have a peaceful and fair administration in Hamas, we are such good friends with Fidel that all we talk about is baseball these days, Cindy Sheehan has found time in her ever so busy schedule doing nothing, to run for Senate, and Ted Kennedy thinks he is once again chairing committees. All is right in the world.
