Won't somebody think of the children? Of course we need to throw everybody's civil rights out the window when it comes to protecting children!

...meaning I think this latest nuttiness from DiFi (love that tag) might be a response to a recent news story highlighting the health risks to children from all the toxic fumes generated in their parents' meth labs.

Gravatar You already have to show ID and are tracked in Virginia. Target tracks your purchases there. This is easy enough to get around though. I would tell how, but I'm afraid some meth head, too hopped up to have figured it out, would read it and then I'd be contributing to a huge problem!

Gravatar I have a hard time that this "meth epidemic" is a lot more than media hype. I never hear anything about meth except on the news, whereas I hear about marijuana and cocaine frequently.

Gravatar Meth is rampant in the rural south, particularly in Appalachia. Almost daily a meth lab is taken down back home. It really is as bad as they're saying. I'm shocked it gets any attention because it primarily affects poor white Southerners and isn't widespread in cities or among minorities...yet.
