You had me in your corner until you suggested our withdrawal from the Outer Space Treaty. The absolute last thing humanity needs is to take its Earth-bound strife into space. The moon, Mars, etc. should belong to all of the people of the Earth, not a single nation. When we step out into space to begin colonization it really should be as one people dedicated to the betterment of our species, not as multiple nations dedicated to their own nationalist agenda.
