There are any number of reasons to vote against Protack, and his numerous falsehoods his opponents past and present are chief among them. Fortunately, Ting is a candidate worth voting for, so my joy in voting in September will be doubled.

"Dana Garrett misses the point once again"
Well SOO-prize, SOO-prize. Of course, it's about time for his to show up here, accuse you of saying or doing something you didn't say or do, and then whine incessantly when you call him on it.
His lack of understanding of politics, Republican politics and election-year politics in particular is quite funny.

Exactly! We must crush the intolerant, and let them know they have no place here!
Sincerely,

"That quote implies that anyone who supports Jan Ting does so merely because he is the one that the state party supports. Dana, have you ever cared to think that maybe the relationship between support for Jan and the endorsement is causal in the reverse direction? That people support Jan for the same reason the Party "elites" do? That he is someone who is an excellent candidate that represents our party's ideas?"
This is pure garbage. I have stated--and you know it because it's over at your con alliance blog--that if I were a repub, I would not want Protack supporting my party given some of his views. I say ENDLESSLY that the issue is not about which is the better candidate, but you & your fellow travelers just spread this lie again & again. I have said endlessly that my entire concern is about candidate selection PROCESS. My quotation implies nothing except that the party leadership engages in DIRTY POLITICS.
But I just discovered why you Ryan are so defensive on this matter because YOU ARE THE 1ST SIGNATORY ON THE LETTER DISTRIBUTED AT THE CONVENTION. YOU!!!!
You are the one that put your name to a blatant FALSEHOOD that Protack attacked the ORGANIZATION of the College Republicans. He never did anything of the sort. I, Dana Garrett. attacked Wimer, and Protack, incorrectly, supported him.
I thought you were above the level of these slimy tactics routinely used by Hube and, more often than I had imagined, by DT, etc. The tactic of repeating a lie again and again and again WHEN YOU KNOW IT IS A FALESHOOD. You know I don’t care one whit if the Repubs chose Protack or not.
Congradts, Ryan, you have just joined the ranks of the pathetic shills who get used for dirty tricks only to be discarded later if your dirty tricks get exposure. Speaking of which….
I intend to post the letter passed out at the convention on my blog w/ its glaring falsehood. It gives me no pleasure to do so. But I feel constrained to post and let it remain there for years as a record of how you put your name to a falsehood and played a rank and transparent dirty trick and helped to corrupt a democratic process.
Let it remain as an accessible indictment against your character, judgment and morality for the public to see as they consider you someday as a member of that "next generation" stepping up to become a Republican leader, elected or otherwise.
You’ll see: those patting you on your back now for your stunt will disavow you then. You realize then that you should have acted on the high principles you once had, the very ones I listened to w/ admiration as you sat across from me in the diner.
What a sad, sad loss of such great potential.

Congratulations, Ryan. That, my friend, is a badge of honor. Welcome to the club of the sane and reasoned.
And Dana, no one's disputing that the letter exists, just as we also don't dispute that Protack's attack on Ryan was offensive to all College Republicans. Post the letter.

The College R's could have come up with something a little more clever than griping about Protacks comments on an "ultra liberal website"... seriously - for starters - the blog - with which I am not affiliated in any way - but do enjoy perusing (and I am a republican) - is fair and straight - including its undeniable voice of support for Wharton over Biden - so crush that up with some weed and smoke it - seriously - get some inspriation - what you should have done was used Protack's own quotes - instead of your own - to bust his rocks (if that's what you intended to do) - nothing is so powerful as a man's own stupid words - its politics 101 - "your words sir, not mine"
Protack has given y'all too much ammo to go making shit up about him blathering to an ultra left website - who cares to whom he blabbered - but geezus - at least tell us what he said that was so offensive -
Jan Ting is legit - don't F___K him up with stupid shit -
Cheers

Brought to you by the habitual user of "anti-immigrant," "Islamophobe," "xenophobe," and "cultural supremacist" who clearly and cleverly disregards the OBVIOUS distinction between illegal and legal immigrants, radical and moderate Muslims, etc. etc.
Does anyone REALLY wonder why fewer and fewer people take this "anti-hate hater" seriously?
