This seems like it might be the latest swing in the ebb and flow of world politics. And lets not forget Great Britian is still under "Labour" rule, though Blair has followed a rather conservative (or neoconservative) foreign policy model. This shift might be the current trend, but I highly doubt it is permanant.
Its in interesting concept. I guess we'll see how things play out in the long run? There was an interesting article written recently on how conservatives in the United States are having children at a much higher rate than liberals. The trend might continue!
