Gravatar Sounds intriguing; however, the US becoming a "moderate" Islamic republic? Too far-fetched. But I'd still read it. I love alternate history.

Gravatar I can lend you my copy next time we have a meet up.

Gravatar I'd like to read it too. And Hube, I hope it is as far-fetched as you think. I'm not so sure. I think much of the nation lacks the back-bone necessary for a prolonged struggle. Also, remember two FoxNews reporters just converted to Islam while they were in captivity. People will do surprising things when they feel their lives are threatened. Islam spread very quickly over the Middle East, northern Africa, and into Europe (Spain) before being halted by Charles Martel, after all.

Gravatar Two things in particular work in our favor against such a scenario, Anna. One, we're not geographically close like Europe is to the Islamic nations. Two, Americans are much more religious than Europeans, so taking that religion (mostly Christian, that is) seriously is more likely to have folks fighting to preserve it.

Gravatar glad you liked my book. i must confess, lately i've been wondering if in thirty years it will be found under "non-fiction" in the library.

Gravatar Thanks for stumbling upon my review!

I eagerly anticipate the sequels, and pray that they remain fiction.
