I don't know - the more I learn about the history of western civilization, the more it depresses me. Its sometimes nice to learn about the mistakes of OTHER cultures; at least those can make you feel better about your own. 
I am a Christian white male married to a black woman. I have had my life threatened at least 50 times in my life by black men. I ve had guns pulled on me, been shot at, been attacked by a gang, I could go on. Never once have we had a problem with one white man, we always have problems with racist black men because of their hate for strong white men and the society that condones and makes excuses for black on white hate. We all know, there will be no hate crime for my attackers; there will be no front page story, because I am the hated Christian White Male.
Among my many true stories, once a black man who lived in one of my buildings was upset that we had his apartment exterminated for roaches. He call my house threaten me and my wife and said he would kill any white people he saw at the building. I went to the police because he said some of this on my answering machine. Did I get justice; did the two time felon who made the racist statements get a case? No, I got a black cop who refused to help me. Their excuse was and I quote, “This is not a hate crime because he (the black man) said I am going to kill all white people. He did not say I am going to kill all white people because they are white”. The excuse the black officer gave for not filing a hate crime was the racist black man did not use the word “because”. Outrageous yes……and true.
Another true story, I had gang banger pull a gun one me for looking at him. He pointed the gun at me, threaten my life. He then walked back to his car and put the gun under his seat and went into the gym. I promised myself the next man who pulled a gun on me was going to pay. So I followed him in the gym and confronted him. Of course, like all the coward gang bangers who need a gun or group of men, was very scared. He started going outside so I had to punch him so that he would not make it back to his gun in the car. The gang banger fell back, got up and thought about fighting me for a second and then ran behind the service counter. Everyone broke it up and the ambulance was called. The ambulance came and took him away. He wore a neck brace for weeks, then he tried to sue me for his injuries. Yes another true story.
