Mike, I am far from a social puritan. However, the public and private sphere are very different.
I don't endorse Allen, but Webb seems far less competent.

Webb ought to have known the content of his novels could be a problem for voters in Virginia, but he didn't bother to try to defuse the issue ahead of time.
