Gravatar Well done! Good choices all around.

Gravatar To pick a nit, Pope Benedict is not reviving the Latin Mass. Latin is still the official language of the Church and any priest can say a Mass any time he wants, as long as it's pastorally correct. (In other words, the congregation better be able to handle it, so most of the time he shouldn't do it.)

What the Pope is allegedly considering is granting a universal indult (special permission) to allow priests to say the Tridentine Mass without the currently required special permission of the Bishop. The Tridentine Mass was the Mass used up until the period just after Vatican II. After the Council of Trent, it was done solely in Latin. I've been to two tridentine Masses and I'll stick with Mass of Paul VI, personally. I'd be interested in seeing if priests will be allowed to do the Tridentine in English, though. That could draw my interest.

Gravatar haha, your election predictions as a hack. I like your spirit. lol.

Gravatar My ego isn't so large as to be incapable of admitting I screwed up. I'm just glad I didn't put any money on the line!
