Actually, Kucinich only has to pay $2000 for the recount, since the margin between Clinton and Obama was less than 3%. Otherwise he'd have to pay the full cost of recounting. I'm not quite sure why he's entitled to make this request on behalf of Obama, but that's what it looks like. Obviously Kucinich was too far behind to gain anything (NH is a winner take all primary) so his obvious motive is to deny Clinton the victory. What a hack!
There were some good lines from Thompson and Huckabee last night. McCain had one weak point when he said "I'm the candidate to stop immigration" but by the way..."my state has the most illegals that cross the border." His idea of "qualifications in that department...is failure?
What power does a senator have to limit immigration into his state, especially one who is trying to swear off earmarks? I'm not trying to irritate, I was just curious as to your thoughts on that.
Ok, I agree I don't know what Hillary meant, but I'd like to see it in context. Plus, if saying something nonsensical qualified you for hack of the week, you'd merely have to look for a new Bush quote each week!
I know he has no power to that. I just don't know why it was relevent to the conversation in a credentials form. Its like saying you are the best person to fight for the environment and right behind you your wife is litering. Go figure
