Gravatar Yep, should have brought it out during the Christmas season. Not only would there be less competition, but the book's themes play well with the religious holiday.

More importantly though, the first movie wasn't that great. The Narnia books are simple stories that are easy to tell. They didn't need to change stuff, but they did anyway. They made the story more spectacular but sacrificed most of the book's meaning to do it. Not cool.

Which means that hardcore Narnia fans like me really couldn't care about seeing this next movie. They've pretty obviously mucked around with the story again in uncool ways. Maybe I'll netflix it when it comes out on DVD or better yet, I'll just read the book again. I liked the book.
