Is Obama qualified for President?
No, but he did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

I love it, someone who is a community leader in the worst parts of Chicago is a snob, but a spoiled rich white boy whose daddy gets him out of Vietnam and into both Yale and Harvard is not. He then uses his position of advantage and privildge to run several failing businesses before going into politics and helping out his wealthy oil buddies. But Bush is a "good old boy" and the man with a difficult childhood who continues to stand for the poor is a snob. Makes sense to me - very creative.

Moreover, his lack of ability to drink Yuengling or bowl also does not make him elitist. When did basketball become elitist? When did not being an alcoholic (aka our current president in his former life) become elitist? This kind of media silliness is why things don't actually get fixed in this country. Attack Obama's experience, attack his policies, but this kind of labeling is unproductive.

When you boil it down, its all about winning an election. Personally, I don't believe he is elitist, but if Clinton can paint him as such, it really doesn't matter if its true. Whatever you have to do to win - true or not... thats the name of the game.
