Does the "vast right wing conspiracy" send out talking points memos to you all? I've seen this talking point a lot - ignoring the fact that the Democrats already have a field of strong contenders for the White House and the Republicans are a divided lot, already attacking eaching contrary to the advice of "the Godfather," Ronald Reagan. In the meantime, I have a tough decision to make for the Delaware primary...if anyone is left to choose from by then.
I thought the plane thing was kinda funny, and I bet there are a few candidates who are kicking themselves for not coming up with a plane-pooling idea to the debate to raise awareness about global warming. Talking points from the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?" Wow! Liberals really do think this stuff! How about...uh...conservatives actually pay attention to the news and are generally smart enough to draw the OBVIOUS conclusions. From Gore getting caught using more electricity in his house to the rest of the candidates bopping about the country, to Nancy Pelosi's initial request for Government transport to and from Calif., it is obvious that the enviromental issue is NOT important to this folks. It is merely another hot button issue they think can game them political power. You know, like selling out the US during a time of war.
Mike, please. The hypocrisy of these idiots is astounding. First Gore, now the whole field. IOW, you can tell all these bozos to stick their "caring about global warming" mantra straight up their collective asses. And, as recent news shows, so-called "carbon offsets" -- already a pathetic attempt to allow the rich and famous to indulge "conscious-free" -- are a complete fraud.
