With regards to this twitter statement....
"Just finished Season 1, and Party Down is creeping up on Friday Night Lights for best-show-on-TV honors. Funny as hell, weirdly insightful."
These are both excellent shows, and it is wonderful indeed to see Martin Starr getting work, though it's frustrating that Rob Thomas hasn't brought back Wallace Fennel/Percy Daggs yet.
But the best show on television, with respect to PD and the wonderful FNL, is Breaking Bad. It has the best lead actor on the planet, unpredictable plotting and unrelenting suspense. Watch the first three episodes and it will own you forever. (Warning: the end of season two will basically destroy you.)
And if you can't trust some random guy commenting on your blog, who can you trust?
i second you, random commenting guy. watching breaking bad is sitting on the edge of the couch, crossing your fingers on one hand and hoping things for the characters don't go horribly wrong, while crossing your fingers on your other hand, hoping things do go wrong, which they do, and you relish every bit of it, excruciating twist after excruciating twist, your underwear soggy the entire time.
OK, y'all have convinced me. Netflixing now.
