I thought of cutting remarks to say to my boss when he comes back from overseas about how fucked his company is.
maybe you could teach the baby how to photocopy parts of itself. Is it a boy baby? If it is, it's going ot need to know that stuff sooner or later.
I have plenty of filing that needs doing.... *ducks for cover*

Unfortunately it's a girl baby, so I won't be able to introduce her to photocopying yet. And she's only 6 weeks old, so she probably wouldn't remember yet.

I know your pain. Whilst the job I have now has it's terribly dull moments.. I once had one that sounds as exciting as yours. Basically I was there in case the phone rang or anyone wanted something. Which never happened. And then they banned the internet. Those employers have a spot in hell reserved for them I swear.
Has the photocopier arrived yet?

No my bloody photocopier hasn't turned up yet. The banning of the internet hasn't happened yet, but since we were charged extra for downloads last month, it could be happening soon.

Been reading through Zoe's archives. Very funny and strangely educational too.
The special hell I have created for them is populated entirely by 5 year olds playing plastic recorders.
And whilst listening to these plastic recorders they have to spend their time setting in sleeves.

Photocopiers here, photocopiers here. Lalalalalala. Setting in sleeves, that takes me back to when I cared about things like the SCA. I don't think I've set in a sleeve since 2001. Possibly longer.

Mindy, does this really mean you only eat one timtam per day? How do you do it girl? If i took a lunchbox with one timtam in it to work in the morning I'd only have to go home again five minutes later to eat the rest of the packet.

no it was the last timtam in the packet and I was really good and didn't open the new packet that I bought at lunchtime until I got home. Even then Charlie at that one. I usually take two timtams. My secret is that my jeans are just a fraction tight around the middle so I know that if I eat more than two a day I'll be coming to work in a muu muu. Mind you, I only bought one packet for the long weekend, even though they are on special this week for $1.99 because I knew that I'd scoff the lot if I bought two packets. Charlie wanted a timtam for breakfast this morning. I feel you pain little guy.
I feel your pain. That's what I meant. Obviously that was pre tim-tam for me today.
Zoe - I did eventually discover the secret of the comments. For a while there I thought you were doing really well continuing on with no comments. Then I realised (duh).
I so heart your comment about threads seeming to end when you joined them, we really should have a beginner blogger blog which says 'don't expect people to respond to you immediately. You will often write the last comment on a blog and wonder if you will always be a thread killer. We have all been there.
