Breakfasts that aren't soggy, a cuddle with Alex when he is asleep and can't kick me, one hour during a day when Alex is asleep and I can do whatever I want to, so long as it is in the house. The occasional night out when someone else is looking after him and whatever sex I can get!

Oh, I so know that toilet pleasure! it took me ages to be able to close the door without screams of agony, and I still get a frisson of pleasure sitting with the door shut.

Bumblebee went through a stage of begging me to let him stay home alone while I went to the shop until his dad left him home alone (in Marulen!) for about 4 hours. I know, because I had about 3 hours of tearful pleading on my answering machine when I got home and I reckon he'd been happily playing video games for about an hour before that. Zoe is my witness, as she intercepted one of the calls while she was feeding my dog. She gave him my mobile number, and I chatted with him for a good ten minutes when his dad arrived home, apparently grumpy that B had 'overreacted!'

Anyway, that cured his need to be alone for the next few years. But wait till Charlie is at school -- you'll miss all that screeching! Hours of peace and quiet, every day. you won't know yourself...

Hmmm by guilty pleasures I'm assuming that you mean things that we really shouldn't.
Amongst my guilty pleasures are
1. surfing the interweb at work
2. That extra piece of... (chocolate, cake, etc)
3. Fried fatty animal products.
4. Eavesdropping on strangers' conversations
5. That extra half hour in bed in the morning on 'school days'
