I love the fact that these people are getting worked up over a religion which they invented using the symbols from another religion (or for all we know, ad for a sporting club) which they know almost nothing about.
Kinda like many modern Christians praying in the cathedrals of Europe, actually...
I would care if the historians were worried. Pagans... pah. The people who drew the giant are long gone. No one really knows what he's really about.
If you want to see disrespectin', just look at the many tourists in St Peters Basilica. They were rather oblivious to the fact they were in a church. I don't subscribe to that flavour of worship, but at least I could wander around the place quietly....
