I don't know why we are bombarded with news about criminals as though they were celebrities. I wouldn't put Wheatley in the same category as Mokbel but I am getting a bit pissed off with it all. Let's hope 'Fat Tony' doesn't make another escape the day the Pope arrives or the newshounds won't know which way to run.

And on the radio this morning I heard a reporter tell the man in the studio that she was outside GW's house, where 40 represetatives of the media and a press helicopter hovered above.
Eventually they do a story about how Chopper Reid hasn't done anything criminal for 10 years (if he's still alive, I don't know).

The media just points them out because they're good for a slow news day.
People being blown up or children murdering puppies is, apparently, the news most of us want to see.
Everyone's just waiting for the Tania Zaetta videos to come out, so they are being half-arsed about everything else.
