What these idiots seem to forget is that it is through the tolerance of the Canadian public that they have the right to challenge commentary that is slanderous or hateful. This tolerance, however, has limits and when the public perceives that those limits are being abused they tend to, not just react, but to overreact. These Islamic zealots with their assumed affront to every word or glance are stretching that limit to the breaking point.
Did these fools totally ignore the recent accomodation hearings in Quebec? Don't they realize that not too far beneath the veneer of Canadian tolerance there is a cauldron of resentment boiling up against the likes of Jack Layton, Warren Kinsella and the HRCs (Hateful Represive Commissariat) who seem to be intent on aiding in the destruction of what most Canadians perceive to be normal discourse in a free society.
When the tolerance limits are stretched beyond the breaking point, the backlash will not be pretty and, unfortunately, the innocent will be swept up with the guilty in the ensuing flood tide.
I would suggest that muslims who value the freedoms they came here to find get off their butts and start making it clear that they oppose these radical elements in their midst. Read a little history. Take a look at the McCarthy era in the U.S. to find out how vile North American society can become when it feels threatened.
