I have been a part of the word-of-faith movement for many years. However, I never was able to accept their main doctrines such as seed faith. From the inside, I saw much hypocrisy and finally have left that whole group of people, convicted by the Bible that they are in error. Sadly, it seems the majority really believe the lies they are being taught. I, however, am glad to be free of it.
Once, a guest preacher had said to the congregation, "whoever is in debt stand up." Close to 90% stood up. Then he said, "Whoever is debt free stand up". I believe only the Pastor (out of close to 5000 present) stood up. What does that say?

I just wanted to add that it was probably closer to 99% that stood up that were in debt and the debt was debt OTHER THAN HOUSE DEBT, so that was more like credit card and other unsecured debt.

And most of those were probably in debt from maxxing out their credit cards to support this man's "ministry."
I am glad that you have come out of that, so you may warn others not to be taken in.
