Thanks for the Malkin and Schlussel heads-up. I'm going to catch "The Great Raid" probably later in the day. Schlussel said it's a "must see" for all Americans. I have to say it should be the case for all Filipinos too. Very few had heard or even read an account of that story.

Of course, the casting of Cesar Montano (as Pajota) is probably going to overshadow the storytelling for most people here in the Philippines. But it's a good plus since Montano will help attract the general public to see the film.
