Leaving any pet in any vehicle for any amount of time is not cool, in my book. Pets, dogs especially, don't do too well traveling in cars. I see dogs in the beds of trucks all the time, and constantly move back and forth, from side to side, while the truck is moving at 50mph or faster. It freaks me out to see the dog going nuts, wanting to see where they are going.
A ride inside the car, with the windows down is fine, like taking the dog to the dog park to run around. But leaving them alone in a car in any temperature is something I don't agree with.
