Gravatar Let's forget about lactating abilities for a moment.
So. A man and a woman can not be together in a closed room. Cos, well, man and woman, dirty thoughts, dirty deeds and all the rest, yes?
But if the woman bares her breasts, which are rather private parts of her dangerously naughty body, and the man sticks these private parts into his mouth and sucks, that's not dirty, but perfectly fine and halal and all that? I seeeeeeeeeee. Q.E.D.

About the lactating.....
Perverts who are dreaming about getting breastfed by a woman do not necessarily need to be familiar with the real life biology concerning women. Maybe the fuck simply has no clue that women don't always have milk to offer...

Concerning your concluding remark... Well, if they merely followed the "pure" intentions of the smaller head the results would still less... odd... than this. I mean, how could one define ideas like this? A fatal mix-up of the sick part of the bigger head with the small head?? Severe heads mutation??

Gravatar Please insert a "be" between "still" and "less" in the last paragraph.
Thank you.

*lol* Google is placing ads for milk and big bras here...

Gravatar to anarki: "anarki il kha6ir allah would you think twice qabol la ttarjim hatha il khree6 il jayif lil ingleeezi? 3ayizna i7na? yomma ma 3ayizna walla, beni o benak 2ee li2an no3rof innaho hatha `3ala6o innaho moo il islam heech o no3rof il wajh il 9a7ee7 o il 7ilo bil islam, bas lil ingleezi la ya akhy, homma shoy3orfnoon 3an il islam `3er kol misconception o every possibly bad idea? o innoba inta troo7 tzeedilhom 3aya? alla yi`3firlak moo heech ya akhy may9eer walla."

so anyways,
all this story is old news now: here is a little research showing you what the founders of the four schools in islam (the four sects) say proving this is bulshit, and also quotes of the most important companions of the prophet pbuh showing that this is total nonsense. with all evidences in the speeches and teachings of the prophet pbuh.

AND AFTER THAT, you will find the statement where this guy who made this whole mess, the azhar teacher himself, takes it back and announces he made a mistake and apologizes, so here are the evidences first:

الحمد لله و كفي و سلام علي عباده الذين اصطفي

يثير البعض هذه المسألة و كثيرا ما يتشدقون بها و هي ( رضاعة الكبير )

و عموما اعرف ان الاخوة كلهم يعرفون الرد و لكن اكتب هذا فقط من باب تجميع الاراء و عساها تكون نافعة للاخوة الجدد

Gravatar Khalid:

#1: bro, i made it out this way because i want there to be a muslim explanation/rejection of this idea.

this WILL catch on, and there are many indeed who are just waiting for a mishap like this to blame ALL of Islam for what this idiot is doing:

now: if there was no muslim who talked about it out loud IN THE OPEN, the first thing those guys would say:
"look, they are all agreeing to it since they have not spoken against it"

it happened many times, and it happened before.

what's the use of telling muslims this is wrong? in arabic? they already know that:
i wish to tell non-muslims OUR point of view. and this is why i wrote it in English. with CLEAR connotations that this is NOT what Islam is about..

Gravatar #2 i enabled moderation there to discourage people from posting in TWO separate threads, making it very difficult to manage comments:
anyone can post here yes, but if anyone spammed or something, i can easily BAN his/her/its IP address/range, PLUS i can enable moderation here, but why when i can simply BAN the offender?

also, i dont know many who write 400+ words comments, and if they so want to do so, they can comment there, i'll publish it.

p.s. "it happened many times, and it happened before."
i meant:
"it happened many times, and it will happen again"

sorry if i offended you, Khalid, but still, we HAVE to admit our current culture has many faults, and these faults are leaking into Islam, and causing all sorts of troubles.

Gravatar p.p.s the reasons i have two comment threads are:

a) to show all my old comments
b) new: for this kind of situation: EXTRA LONG comments!

note: i dont get spam HERE, in this "OPEN FREE FOR ALL" thread.
however, i do get spam in blogger comments, WITH word-verification AND moderation.
ironic.

oh and another thing: i already said he apologized but i didn't publish the apology itself because it was looong and in arabic and i dont want to translate it.

we all make mistakes, yes Khalid, BUT we ALSO have to assume responsibility for them. this was not some local imam giving a simple local fatwa:
this was a HEAD OF A DEPARTMENT in the foremost theological authority for the majority of Muslims.
measures should be taken so this sort of crap does not happen again, and they were

i havent even touched the subject fatwa of how its haram to have sex naked, or to look at the genitalia of your wife/husband.

Gravatar Sooo... I share my office with two women (no probs there), my husband (should be o.k., too) and another collegue. He's a nice enough guy, but... well... he's over fifty. He lives on a farm and looks the part. Would I like to breast-feed him (if I was lactating) five times? Naaah, don't think so. Not even once, believe me! Besides, what would my husband say?

No, really, this is un-fucking-believable. Just goes to show what religion does to some people. As far as I know, fanatical Christians didn't come up with THAT idea, but they've done enough evil through the centuries to proudly call themselves Dr. Attiyah's brothers. (Or should I say "brethren" to make it sound more holy?)

Usually I don't comment much, I'm more of a lurker, but I just HAD to say something to this post of yours.

Keep up the good work!

Gravatar P.S.
I should add that I'm a (lapsed) Christian myself.
And I'm glad you posted in English so that us "westerners" could read it, too.
1. I had a good laugh, and
2. like you said, the story would have leaked out, anyway, and a certain kind of people would say: "See how crazy those Muslims are". Now everyone can see that only SOME Muslims are crazy.
That's o.k., there are madmen everywhere.

Gravatar welcome to Then Some! , Mafdet

Gravatar alright alright:i understand, but we first i haven't seen anyone speaking about it in English ya akhy, it didn't leak y3ni, ra7 tla7i`6 innaho kol il mo3alliqeen will take this as news from you, moo ta3leeq 3ala akhbar y3orfooha already.
second, Al Azhar is by no means any reference to all or majority of muslims, its a state-ran sort of things, we are know its nonsense, the whole institution, never in my life I've seen any person or thing worth checking religion-wise that is related with al azhar, its really not theological authority for the majority of Muslims at all, its hardly an Egyptian thing, they go so far in making things "Easy" and "modern" and just to give you the perfect picture i will add that the head mufti in Egypt is APPOINTED BY MUBARAK, the president, appointed as in appointed. by MUBARAK, the most corrupted morally and politically leader in the entire ME and maybe the world even.

And to add one more thing, he is a dead of the department in al azhar UNIVERSITYY, not even al azhar itself, al azhar has a university that has various colleges some of them are not even related to islam. so the guy is seriously a nobody. ever heard of his name ever before? I am sure not. and of course neither did i. see what i mean?

Gravatar *gently pours a glass of cold water over Khalid's head to cool him down*

Look, rag... er, towelhead, it's like my sister said. There are crazies in every religion, and I for one like to have a good laugh at them if they come up with zonked out ideas like that, so big thanks to 13 for posting this in English. I told some Muslims today at work, and they had a good laugh as well.

And 13's point about it being good to be seen as a Muslim criticizing the crazies is pretty valid as well.

*pats Khalid and tut-tut-tuts him*

*thinks*

*turns and runs*

Gravatar Awwwww, isn't he cute? Now he's worried ppl might think I was insulting him for real.

Ppl, I was not insulting Khalid. He knows, I know, I suspect the camel driver, er, aNarki knows....

All good now?

Gravatar Khalid:
bro: i deliberately referenced Arabia cuz its a news channel, which is slightly more trustworthy than the usual news websites, chatrooms, paltalk rooms, etc. in fact, it was the most reliable/neutral source i found. (i.e. not Egyptian and not by definition, Muslim)
also i gave the complete picture AND the fact that he was punished/reprimanded
still, better quoted by me then by some others i can think of

"Al-Azhar is by no means... ...we all know its nonsense"
AMEN yes Khalid YES, we as in MUSLIMS we, we can also think and separate the right from wrong in the fatwas we read or hear about, because we are muslims and know.
however, non-muslims would think: "oh since this is from Azhar, then hell yeah, every muslim will be following it"
because they do not know the structure or how these things work or are applied.

and you are right about me not knowing about him, but hey, even Zarqawi/Dhawahiri etc were unknown before they went Cuckoo and started killing people left and right..

still i mean, he's in a department that deals with al-Hadeeth al-Shareef, the very words of our prophet. if this was some guy in physics department i would have excused him, physicists are nuts (and i love them), but how in hell did he reach THAT position? aren't there ANYONE better? this is what scares me.

you are also 100% right about politicians appointing imams/muftis/mullahs etc to help them, also add to it that some cut the link shorter and are themselves muftis/imams/mullahs AND politicians. this is Islam's most pressing problem: its being used for political gains, to gather supporters for a political cause in the name of religion. ugh.

and how can i survive in this sand-saturated environment without my antihistamine meds?

Gravatar -The 1st time I stumbled upon this ... no no, let me rephrase... the 1st time this subject stumbled upon me, I was like 'WHAT THE..?!! this's... I mean it's.. but nevertheless.... umm.. WHAAAT?!!'

all I can say is, u gotta give it to the Islamic PR department... grrreat work as usual!..

And i think u could launch a promising career in their advertisement department

-I came up upon 'Tubgirl' (YES, it was I who stumbled upon her, this time!) years ago... and altho Mr.slimebag Whateverhisnameis spew-out his "Fatwa" in a manner similar to Tubgirl's signature act- Yet, she's done nothing wrong to deserve the cruel insult of being associated with him.

-U and ur friends usually play using racial slurs?!

Urs

DesertRat :p

Gravatar Wow, I am really late to this party!

Well, I've heard some wierd shit in my years, but this has got to be close to maxing out the wierd shit-o-meter, as a Man in Black once said. :D

I think this guy is just a pervert and dreamed up this breast feeding fatwa to justify his fetish. I wonder how many women in his school he has molested?

Gravatar Well, India, the camel driver (i.e. aNarki) attempts to play the game, but he doesn't understand the rules.
When I started calling him camel driver, he supplied me with with more words to be used on Arabs (raghead, etc) instead of insulting me back. On the other hand I can understand why he didn't do it, as "Kraut" is just too silly, and the only other standardized insult that comes to mind is "Nazi" and suchlike...

Gravatar i could always say "Bavarian" but i'm just too nice

Gravatar @Melantrys, u shld c me playing one of'em WWII PC shooters during which I'd be euphorically shouting 'DIE BOX-HEADED KRAUTS DIEEEE'... but to be honest... yeah, it's nowhere as "pockey" as our labels! I know, we Arabs RULE :D

@David, ummm... u, I and the whole world wish he had female apprentices or colleagues!

and '13, mukanek 7'alee earlier tonight... i was having a blast getting wasted at an open-air jazz festival.. really wished i had a friend to share the fun with

P.S. '13, shld David inquire abt what I meant, I leave it in ur trust-worthy hands to lay it out to him... I gotta figure out how to deal with tomorrow's hangover ... TAAAAAAaaa

Gravatar India: hopefully soon enough i'll be joining the fun
thank you for the invite and like i said, who knows? soon enough

Ta, and good luck with the hangover, some'd say Hair of the Dog that bit you

see you around

Gravatar Actually India, I am curious about what you meant. However, I will assume that you were saying that there are no women at this religious school. Are there not even any female secretaries or maids there?

Surely there must be women somewhere who have been abused by this wacko.

Gravatar Dave, I think u r involuntarily trying to relate this issue with the scandals that've been unveiled at churches, where sexual molestations were carried out on the hands of christian priests.

Whereas the case on our hands is about a religious legislative authority figure who went ahead to over-analyze and over-interpret an issue along with the historic events shaping, causing and relating to it... then based on those "facts" he went ahead and squeezed a stench of a legislation outta one of his bodily orifices (AHAA!.. OK '13, now I c the analogy relating him and Ms.Tubgirl!) .. and, thus, guess what happened?! there was alot of shit for the 'fan' to hit and spray around...

In summary the 2 cases r different because christian priests live a life of solitude (and eternal horny-ness for that matter!), thus because he's got constant cravings, it is very likely that he breaks his "diet" at one point or another!
Whereas Islam encourages marriage without exceptions. Thus, our clerics r always getting some , not to mention that in Islamic institutions there's an imposed gender-segregation (no two individuals of differing sexes should allow them selves to be isolated in a place, as the devil'll surly be present amongst them and invoke one of them to 'eat the apple' ).. so, very unlikely that sexual abuse shld take place no matter how perverted that person is.

Gravatar segregation: this was why the fatwa came out in the first place

oh, this can easily solve the BF/GF problem of Arab youth, just have the girl feed him (we'd have to get her lactating first) and then, their status will be even HIGHER than that of official bonafide fiance's..

DANG!

--

about molestation: i guess it could happen, i mean, there are sick people everywhere.. but so far, either it didn't happen OR it didn't get as much publicity as this particular stunt.

Gravatar Thanks India for your explanation. You have made a good point about the Catholic priests and how the enforced lifestyle of celebacy can lead to molestation. I think that sexuality is a basic human need that must be satisfied. Ignoring it can only lead to trouble!

The celebacy thing in the Catholic church is kind of wierd. For the first 1200 or 1300 years of the Catholic church, priests were allowed to marry. There were even quite a few popes who had wives and even mistresses on the side! At some point, a very sexually repressed pope (my opinion of the man) decided that priests had to be celebate. At the time, most of the priests were married. I understand that the ruling caused some married priests to riot!
As far as I know, celebacy is only practiced within the Catholic church. There are hundreds of other Christian denominations (in some ways, they are entirely different religions) that allow their priests and ministers to marry. In some denominations, women are allowed to become ministers, as well.

Anarki, I think that molestation is sort of a Western concept. For example, in Iran, I know that a girl as young as nine years old can be forced to marry a man, often many times her age. This is perfectly legal in Iran, but it would be concidered molestation or child rape in Western countries. I have also heard that it is a common practice for a boy and an older man to have a relationship in some Muslim societies. Well again, this would be considered molestation in a Western country.

Gravatar David:

about the celibacy thing: i once read it was due to a Pope's mistress and her mom trying to assassinate him/rule in his stead, and whether they succeeded or not i can't remember (it was an article about the rumored "female Pope" and this came around as well), but anyway, that made someone come up with the celibacy thing.

sigh: about the underage marriages: sadly yes, they still happen, but not everywhere mind you.. and hopefully soon all countries here will have laws against that. its called PUBERTY FOR A REASON.

"I have also heard that it is a common practice for a boy and an older man to have a relationship in some Muslim societies"

!!

thing is: its NOT a very healthy thing for one to be openly homosexual in most countries in the middle east:

there are some countries where its rampant, ESP. in the closed "gender-segregated" societies of the Gulf countries (Oman in particular) but i dont think its a common practice throughout the middle east, i mean, there are more to the ME than the Gulf countries

Gravatar I've read something else about the celibacy thing:
Clerics who already had a wife and wanted to stay married when the church enforced celibacy could do so - if they paid a stiff fine. As most of them wanted to keep their wives, it was another source of income for the Pope.

Gravatar The Professor is not a horny honcho. He is an esteemed professor, this has nothing to do with being chosen by Mubarak, I cannot seem to find the connection between milky yummy titties and national security, imho he just chose an obscure edict that applies to a very specific incident and tried to update it to the trends of today, making a big pile of feces in the process.

c my blog for more details. izi b treedo.

Gravatar Anarki, I had never heard that there may have been a female Pope! I read this lengthy, but very interesting article on the subject:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Joan

Apparently, the balance of the existing evidence seems to indicate that this was a made up legend. However, this legend was widely believed for at least several hundred years, even among Catholics.

Madfet, I didn't know about the paying of fines by married priests. Its not surprising to me though. Damn greedy Popes!

Gravatar Nice thread guys

Gravatar Kiddo: riiiiight

David: like i said: it was a RUMOR but still i think celibacy is kinda weird.. i mean, religion doesn't interfere with everyday life, yes? it should augment it.. but hey..

Bruno: thank you
