yuck--the NYTs article really is disgusting. I was reading it and got about halfway through before I realized that it was a waste of time and put it down.

I did notice, however, that the article made a point of hilighting Nagin's comments about how the "reconstruction aid money" would be needed--not above racism, not above money-grubbing.

I have very little respect for such idiots.
