This is a real witch-hunt. "past tense", "its"...he better hope that twits like this are not on a jury if he goes to trial. |

I think the reason Peterson is not being given the benefit of the doubt is people are tired of two standards of justice, one for citizens, the other for cops. The police routinely shoot people to death, tazer them for no good reason which sometimes results in death, and flat out frame innocent people. Not all police do these things, but many of them do, way too many. The police routinely lie to suspects, tell them anything they feel like saying in order to try to fabricate a case, even when it is highly unlikely, or obvious that they are innoncent. Then, they yell foul after they manipulate the conversation in such a way to get the suspect to answer a question with a misstatement or apparent lie. Then, when all else fails, as their case is weak or worthless, they then file charges for "lying to a police investigator". Well, the point is, Drew Peterson is now seeing these same dynamics being used against him. If he is innocent, fine, but at the very least he has a lot of explaining to do, like on the death of the other wife who as it turns out did not, most likely, die accidentally in the bath tub. |
