Let's just say I should've given UH my undivided attention because the awards were as wack as I thought they were going to be. Not VIBE or BET Awards wack, but a close third. The evening could be summed up by the horrific pairing of Ashley Simp and Ugly Ricky. It was like watching somebody vomit.

I have to differ with y'all about Kanye. He's definitely very egotistical, but the guy is fearless. I actually respect the fact that he speaks his mind even when he knows what he has to say is not going to be popular.

Although I am not happy with the Nicole winning I guess I can make it through. You will hear arguements from both sides on why she won. Personally she got on my last nerves and jumped rope with it. Bre was not going to win (although I wanted her to win) because she is too short. they have already put one short girl through. Nik takes very exotic pictures but the basic "smile and shoot" she is just ok with. The first two shows white girls were the winners and the next two black girls won. I do agree that we have yet to see a dark skinned sista to win but give it time. Now I do question why Nik came into the room with regular straight hair and Nicole came in looking like a goddess with those extra extensions. I knew then that there was a problem.

Anyway, it's over and we have to wait until the next crop of girls to see what's going to happen.
