I'm not surprised that he(?) implies that he cant handle a woman who can take care of themselves. I see it so much, i'm willing to bet its 'man instict'.

marry the right person vs. marry to get married. phenomenon i will never cease to wonder about.

But doesn't it just annoy the crap out of you that ppl like this exist? first he disses American/Western women, and then says foreign women are better. But then he shoots himself in the foot again by saying that's because foreign women are more 'obedient'. At one point, he even mentions that foreign women are like American housewives from the 50s who stay at home and be the 'good' wife!

I think the writer has a major case of insecurity, mixed with a huge dose of egoism.
