I think that Martha got the shaft and was made an example of since other big-wig exec's seem to get their hands slapped every day for this sort of thing.

My husband and I went around and around about this, and yes she did break the law, and yes, inside trading is WRONG, but I think she really got the book thrown at her because she is Martha. (And america loves to hate Martha.) Not that I am saying that she should have got off scott free, but treat everyone the same then!

I don't think I would buy her book, but it won't stop me from getting her mag and watching her show (repeats?). She has some really great recipes/hints and tips.
