Sorry to hear you're having problems with your daughter's sleeping routine. I've had the same problems with my youngest son recently too so I know how you feel. I hope things improve soon.
As for the title of your post. I often have that problem, totally racking my brain to think of a decent title, only to come up with nothing, especially if the post is about more than one subject.

I remember going through that with my daughter... she still whines when we send her to be and she will be 12 next month! With my son, we were living with my parents for his first year and got into the habit of nursing him to sleep, but then one of us was always holding him until we went to bed so that he wasn't disturbing someone if he woke up. It has been a hard habit to try to break.

Stopped by via blog explosion. Don't worry, they will get out of the screaming instead of sleeping stage eventually. Of course, they then go into the never wanting to get up stage...

I have a membership at Goodlife that I can't get out of until February and I still have some unused trainer sessions too (about 8 or 9!). I'm hoping to be motivated enough after Brogan arrives to hit the gym to tone up and use up my sessions. And then I'll quit the gym as soon as my year is up because I know I haven't used it much at all so far and the future won't be much different. $32 a month can easily be spent elsewhere. I'm hoping to do a lot more walking though once he's here (more in the spring).

Just don't cave in! She's totally testing her boundries! I went through the same thing with my daughter a couple of different times. I finally got to the point where I told her she could either go to bed before it gets dark, or go to bed without crying. Period. She chose going to bed before it got dark for the longest time. Then, she figured out that she could stay up later otherwise.
