Just popped in via BlogExplosion.
I have been on a low carb diet since May and I have lost 30 pounds. I don't know which one you are on but if you like the low carb idea but not the giving up of all yummy foods, read The Carbohydrate's Diet by Drs Rachel and Richard Heller. It's 2 low carb meals per day and one "reward meal." It's so easy that even I have stuck to this diet. ( I did Atkins a few yrs back, lost 35 pounds and gained it all back.....and more!!)
I began walking my 7 year old daughter to school for exercise about a month ago and that has helped a lot!
I like your blog. I will be back soon to read more!

I just started Atkins again. (Worked great when I did it before, I just never got to my goal and am desperate to get there.) So just know there is a grumpy mom out there drooling over her Halloween candy too!

But I am trying too..we can be weight loss buddies. We can email one another and remind each other of things not to eat and do.

I'm not much of dieting person myself. I think it helps if you're too lazy to cook or make the goodies, and also too cheap to go buy it for yourself There's my secret diet plan

The best diet advice I can give you is throw away all biscuits, chocolates and other lovely things (but not too far otherwise you won't beable to get them back when you change your mind and want to eat them). I enjoyed my visit on your blog, thanks ;o)

Hey, dieting sucks...I went through a period where it all but consumed me and I even worried so much that I was scaring myself. It felt great to lose lots of weight, but I was living in constant fear of food and calories. Take it slow and don't let yourself worry too much. The more you stress about food, the more you want it. Good luck!

My husband and I have had to block the food channel from our tv. We were so obsessed. Fortunately, neither of us remembers how to unblock it.

why not just try to do more exercise and eat more healthily. there's no point in dieting if it makes you hungry all the time. i mean, will the results be worth the horrible time you have getting there? try bran flakes. works like magic hehe. what diet are you on?
