I've always insisted on a real tree, but am coming to see the advantages of the fake varity.

My husband tells me he read somewhere that there are twice as many fake trees in households in the US than real trees.. we're the majority!

And no nothing taboo about an fake tree in my opinion. I have had one since '78 when my brother was born. He was severely allergic. So is my husband so there we go.
