When out of nowhere, my daughter comes to give me a long hug where she pats my back ... to immitate when I pat her back to console her when she's not feeling good. That always warms my heart and brings a smile to my face.

This is a great list! Hmmmm, what makes me smile? My daughter singing, my son when he makes that funny scrunched-up face of his, take-out food (good one!), when my mom calls me up and asks if I want to go shopping, the sound of a mountain stream, and good friends, like you!
