Oh she got Benedryl last night, but that is because she truly has alergies and it helps her breathe at night. That stuff is great!

I've looked for the on/off switch and can't find it anywhere. It's probably growing behind her ears with all of the dirt that never seems to go away no matter how much I scrub with a washcloth. 
On long car trips, my brother used to pretend to get offended and "shut himself off." Now that I have a baby, I know why my parents didn't bother trying to switch him back on.

I *so* know what you mean. I have day dreamed about having a off switch for my kids, so that I could just turn them off for a day. Of course that might be a bad idea - I might not ever turn them back on!

Well, from one recently overwhelmed mom to another...a big, fat SIGH. (our older one recently went to court on a DUI charge. He HAD BETTER learn from this and never, ever do it again!)

Children do very well with benedryl or a shot of nyquil.
Then there's that whole duct tape to the wall theory...............
