I clip coupons when I think of it and it does save lots of cash.
That being said, I would've looked the cashier in the eye and in my rudest tone I would've said, "And why do you think this is any of your business?"

As a general rule, I hate people. That would've pissed me off and I could not have let it go without a comment!!!!!

Totally inappropriate...like when the pizza delivery chick last night says,"Your change is 6 dollars, how much do you want back?"...you give me 6 dollars if my change is 6 dollars, THEN I will determine your tip, what are you kidding me??

It's none of her damn business if you want to clip coupons or not. 50 cents off of $200 doesn't make it worth it to me. I agree that statement was more than a little odd.
