We would come home to find some of the kids yard toys (bikes and stuff) out of place or not where we left them. Then one day I was home with my sick daughter, it was quiet and in the middle of the day. I had just got her down for a nap and was sitting on the kitchen table just gazing out into the yard (mommy space out time), when I saw a shadow on the porch. I freak out and open the door to catch the neighbor girl red handed mounting my sons scooter. I know I scared the crap out of her and she just catches herself and asks if my son can play. What? He's at camp and you better not ever touch anything that doesn't belong to you without asking - I tell her. A future theif if you ask me but it explains a lot.

We have one little neighbor boy who is just a little...odd. He comes over at 7:30am to see if my kids can play, he will stare in our front window and watch whatever cartoon the kids are watching, he'll ask if he can come eat meals with us. He has no sense of personal boundries and seems to get no attention at home. He's pretty strange but I just feel so sorry for him.

freaky deaky, although I remember that me and my brother also had handcuffs within our posession when we were younger. where DID they come from i have no idea! I remember we simply wrapped them around a pole on the side of our house and didn't use them on each other thankfully. but I DO remember creating a pulley system from one tree to another and swinging like apes across the front of our yard. ahh that was fun!
