I actually decorate my BLOG for Halloween. Sick, I know. I found your blog on the SAHM site and you sound like someone who'd have some great ideas for me.
It’s Tip Day Tuesday on www.daringyoungmom.com. How do you use outside help to lighten your load and make your job easier? Post your ideas in my comments or on your own blog but let me know when your post is up.
I'm hoping to get a different kind of tip each week so I can steal them and use them and basically rock even harder than I already do.

Okay, Now I'm starting to feel guilty for not decoratng for Halloween! I mean I did when the kids were young and all, but, geeze my daughter is 28 years old! I don't even think she's decorating! But this is hopeless now. I feel so guilty, I will simply have to go out and visit the Dollar Store and see what I can do. LOL

I went on the Pottery Barn website to get some ideas and then went to Micheal's for about 1/3 of the price!

I just went to Wxx-mart & got two things for the front entry area. I went with a pumpkin theme...as we can't have real pumpkins around here because that attracts the wild animals. But my kids are loving the lighted pumpkins!

I love the Dollar stores Amanda and I always buy the spider web thingies and spiders and put them on the porch. I also have a ceramic pumpkin I use outside. Use things from the outdoors like old limbs and leaves these are so fun to craft with. Just buy maybe a grapevine wreath and put some leaves on it. Cheap and fun. Hope this helps ya!

Yep, we go all out. Every year. Although I had suggested that this year might be curtailed, due to my ridiculous writing schedule. But my older son would not have it, and made sure we scheduled time on Saturday so that we both could deck the spooky halls. (And he's 16; just goes to show there are some things they never outgrow!)
Go to Target - that's where we've gotten most of our decorations over the years!
