OMG, I am *so* very sorry about your cat! I think that *I* would have had a heart attack if I'd seen that! I can't even IMAGINE our cat not being with us. Hugs to you ~ hope you all are doing OK.
Totally off topic ~ have you had your ultrasound? Are you finding out whether it's a girl or a boy?
I am sorry. That seems so unfair. Poor kitty.
Oh Amanda. I'm so sorry. Poor Poe. Poor you.
Ohh nooo I'm so sorry. When I lost my cat a few years ago I was devastated. First off I had stolen the cat from a friend because the cat liked me best anyway, then it was my first living addition to my first ever apartment... she only liked about 2.5 people and was soooo soft. 
I bawled like a baby when I had to put her to sleep for being ill but somehow managed to land a kitten unexpectedly who looks just like her now. Weird, but somehow it just happened. She doesn't spit on people she doesn't like... thats the good thing. (just had to try and make you laugh a little right? I truly am sorry for your loss lady!)
Oh Amanda I know just how you feel. Believe it or not the exact thing happened to me about 10 years ago. I was taking my cat to the Vets and she jumped out of her crate and crawled into my lap and died. I drove the rest of the way to the Vets and he told me that yes, she was gone and then I drove home and buried her in the back pasture at our farm. But I was just destroyed.
So, I am so sorry and I am sending big hugs to you!!!!
