There are many -- what a good idea for a birthday topic! I'll have to remember that when my birthday rolls around. What sticks out most in my head is having the first 2 grandchildren on both sides of the family and meeting my husband.

Good topic! Okay, I'm 22, so since age 12: I went to Space Camp, got the International Baccalaureate diploma, lived in the Netherlands for a year and a half, became fluent in two foreign languages (and able to stumble along in two others), swam 12.5 miles around Key West, ran the annual 15k race in my hometown, visited Auschwitz, got accepted to graduate school... and will receive my bachelor's degree in exactly 5 weeks and 1 day.

(Hopefully, a year from now I'll be able to say: swam the English Channel, ran a half marathon, learned a Middle Eastern language, and applied to work as a governmental language specialist.)

I like this topic... maybe it should be a yearly blog tradition!
