(Covering my ears and grimacing in pain) say it ain't so? Terrible fours? And we are so close to being three so I thought things would just automatically get better. Think I might faint!
"Terrible Fours" are in full force around my house! I can offer NO solutions, seeing how I also need advice in this area. Good luck!
Cure? Hmmm... college? I also hear that it magically goes away after 18 or 20 years. However, I'm sure my mom will say that after 28 years, she's still not cured of it.
My little one just turned 4 and I was telling everyone she was 4 going on 14. Oh boy, some days she can sass more than I did as a teenager for sure.
She however hates to be scolded so if I send her to her room for a few minutes to think over what she did/said it usually works or she falls asleep, either way its good. LMAO!

Oh man...and I was just getting through month #3....so much to look forward to and still so much time to worry about it. yikes!
Four was the hardest age with all of my kids. I think that's the age where they realize they can choose not to do what you say. And they like to make that choice a lot!

It's a phase. Just remember that. It's only a phase. It's a crappy phase, but it will pass. I think it's PRACTICE for the pre-teen years!! And don't think those are far off! We hit that stage at about eight!
I love 4! Four is so much better than 3. She probably is going through a power struggle with you. All I can say is pick your battles, but one thing that I know I wont tolerate is a smart mouth towards me. Not sure what type of punishment you are using with her, but I have some suggestions if you want.
