when Ella was smaller, the "blow in their face" tricked worked like a charm. We also had to mix some meds (the ones with the nice bubble gum or cherry flavor) in with her food.
She doesn't like the bubble gum flavored antibiotics? My daughter can't wait for her doses.
Sorry, mine loves medicine. Probably because she never gets sugar at all so medicine is a treat. She can't wait to get medicine. And we just got done with dual ear infections too! Our first. Bleh.

I don't really have any suggestions for you since Meghan has always been pretty good about medicine taking...except for last week, when she had freakin' PINKEYE in both eyes and the Doc gave her an antibiotic CREAM to be put in her eyes every 3 hours. Oh. My. God.
If she ever gets pinkeye again, I am SO making sure they prescribe the antibiotic DROPS. It would've been much easier!
We had medicine thingie with a nipple attached. That might work. Or you could mix it in with some of her juice- but then you have to make sure she drinks all the juice.
yep, those syringes. and i think they put flavors in meds at the pharmacy, although i don't know if they help at all.
and there is always sugar... 
I use the syringe, as well. After squirting it in the back of her mouth, I blow in her face. (Just a quick puff.) It makes them swallow the medicine immediatly. Good luck!
I always get the syringes they have at the pharmacy and shoot it right into the cheek. They never spit it out.
