Hope the IUD went ok. I was nursing at the time that I got mine- so I had not fears as you and Nae Nae did. I LOVE the IUD> I never think about BC and I only get spotting every 4-6 months. Hope your experience is as good as mine!

I have an IUD and was also alittle (No - VERY) concerned about being on my period during the procedure. It wasn't too bad. I questioned my dr. about the timing and he said it was easier and less painful to do it during this time because the cervix is naturally more "open" during your period. Makes sense I guess - but it was still alittle on the uncomfortable side. I hope the spotting doesn't last too long. I had spotting for almost 6 months. It was worth it in the end, though. Now my period lasts maybe one day each month. Good luck.

PS - I LOVED Harry Potter! Of course they left a lot out from the book, but it was still good!
